The TCNJ Literacy Advancement Project offers literacy tutoring for students in grades 1-12. Our tutors will use assessment data to design instruction that meets the individual needs of each student in the tutoring program.
Instruction offered in the tutoring program draws on a variety of instructional approaches, including Fountas & Pinnell’s Leveled Literacy Intervention, SRSD, Structured Literacy, and other research-based practices.
Tutors will be TCNJ students who have received specialized training. All tutoring will take place on the TCNJ Campus
